Yellow teeth

My friend's teeth are yellowish. Would cleaning with a mixture of mustard oil and salt or with mixture of baking soda and lemon juice help in making the teeth whiter? Are there any side effects of using the abovementioned mixtures? Please help

Mustard oil helps to strengthen teeth, reduces bad breath and maintains healthy gums. Mix 2 drops of fresh lemon juice with a tsp of mustard oil and ½ tsp of salt. Massage your teeth with this mixture for few minutes. Then rinse the mouth with water. Follow the process everyday after brushing your teeth. This doesn't have any side effects.

Baking soda and lime juice will be very acidic and can eventually lead to loss of enamel and lead to sensitive teeth. Mustard oil and salt helps to heal bruised gums. If that is what you want then these time tested home remedies are OK. For a more info on professional whitening or bleaching, you should visit your dentist. P.s : bleaching or whitening does not have same result on everyone, it differs from one individual to other
