Wound not getting Healed

Father touched pressure cooker accidentally 3 days ago It got burned applying silverex cream But when we change the dressing the wound gets disturbed again Also he has to do some physical work due to which it's not healing properly Can we apply Antibiotics on the wound to heal it. ... If so name one T. T injection was given 1 month ago He is not diabetic

Kindly comment on diabetic or any immunocompromised state. U should go for wax dressing, along with silvererex or megaheal ointment, as it seems to be first degree burn no need of any dressing in that.

From the picture,i can see the wound has healed to some extent. Continue Sliverex oinment open dressing for one more week and your father in law is good to go. Since silverex is also a topical antibiotic you dont need any other antibiotics. If your father in law prefers closed dressing you may go with Bactrigas dressing.

Hello, Does your father have diabetes or kidney/liver disease? Keep the wound dry. Check for fever. CBC test may be done to rule out infection.
