Pizosurgery is new and better then conventional one as it utilizes micro vibrations and ultrasonic frequency to cut the bone , so it is less traumatic as compared to conventional one and also the healing process is faster but again the treatment cost will be higher for pizosurgery .On the other hand conventional method is very frequently done and also not very troublesome as in 7 days the wound will completely heal and it is not a very major procedure so u can go for conventional method as well. It all depends on ur tooth clinical and radio graphical examination to choose the best procedure

Treatment option depends upon several factors such as depth of the tooth position,angulation of the tooth, proximity of the tooth with nerve canal underneath etc. When basic forcep extraction can't be done due to these factors,transalveolar extraction.  or if the tooth is position exceptionally deep within the bone sometimes the extraction is done under GA.
