The best solution for a painful wisdom tooth is generally extraction, surgical or otherwise. Do visit a dentist, have him do the necessary xrays etc and get the tooth removed if he also feels that's the best way.

Hello..please describe the severity of the pain, and has the pain happened before..Is there a swelling associ7with the pain and is there difficulty in opening your mouth. .You can take a pain-killer like Brufen or Diclofenac for temporary relief.. get it checked by a general dentist, he may take an xray or suggest an OPG... Considering your age, if the tooth is stuck in the bone, never to erupt, it makes sense to get it removed.. For any further queries, you are welcome to get in touch.. Regards
