Hi ..your dentist gave good advice as tilted molar may lead to accumulation of food particles between 7th molar and wisdom tooth ..over the period of time ..that leads to cavity on both the teeth ..some times cavity on 7 nub tooth involved tooth surface below the gums ..in rare case ultimately you end up loosing both teeth
