Food lodgement in that area suggests removal of wisdom tooth as it may cause decay in adjacent tooth too. Since wisdom tooth is considered as an additional tooth, it's removal won't cause any loss nor any replacement is needed.so my opinion go ahead with removal.

Unless I see your pic of tooth and the xray I can't really opine.  But in some.cases I have done root canals even in mesioangular impacted teeth.  It's out of the box thinking.  Plz send me ur xrays. To assess the situation first step is an x ray which would tell the position of the tooth and the clinical examination.Most probably in your situation it should be removed as the food lodgement problem could not be solved without removing it.It can cause swelling in the gum around and also decay in the adjacent tooth.It usually doesnt play an important part in mastication so its removal wont cause any problem.

Hello this is the usual problem during the eruption of wisdom tooth..we need to take an x-ray and assess two things the angle in which tooth is erupting and whether your jaw has adequate space for it to erupt..if the tooth is not erupting straight or your jaw does not have adequate space to allow the full eruption then it is better to get it removed coz this food lodgement will be continuing and may cause infection in the gums surrounding the tooth and if food lodgement occurs in between this tooth and the adjacent tooth it may harm the adjacent tooth by developing cavities..so an x-ray and a clinical examination is required to come to the correct treatment plan..till then keep the area clean by rinsing tht area vigorously specially after meals..tc

Most of the wisdom teeth are not in proper position Nowadays we recommend all wisdom tooth to be removed irrespective of food lodgement since the brushing ability of wisdom teeth is very poor. Plan the extraction Follow the instructions after removal.

Generally hald erupted wisdome teeth comes in non cleansable area and that's why thy decay faster. If there is No enough space they will never fully come inside the mouth and will keep decaying more and more going for difficult extraction id delayed further. Best to get xray done and get it removed.
