White spot on back of 6 month baby

My baby has many white spots on the back and one similar spot on the face. What could this be? How can it be treated? Is it safe to apply Eumosone M cream?"

Hello These lesions are likely pityriasis alba, a harmless condition commonly seen in children. Often linked to dry skin or mild eczema. Typically fades on its own over weeks to months. Avoid Eumosone M without doctor’s advice: Contains steroid — not safe for regular use on face/neck in children. Can cause skin thinning or lightening if misused.
Next Steps
Use moisturiser 2–3 times daily (preferably bland, fragrance-free like petroleum jelly or Emoderm). Use mild soap or cleanser for bathing. Avoid scrubbing or applying home remedies.
Health Tips
Red flags: If spreading, persistent beyond 6–8 weeks, or associated with other symptoms (itching, scaling, loss of sensation), consult your pediatrician or dermatologist.
