I am having white patches on side of my tongue.please I need help to find out my problem.is it related to cancerous cells

White patches may be due to tobacco consumption, vitamin deficiency, infections and most important could be pre cancer stage. Stop tobacco consumption, oral hygiene and take multivitamins. If no improvement within a week, please consult a Head and Neck Surgeon or Surgical Oncologist
