Hello, Pityriasis alba is a common, harmless skin condition in children that appears as light-colored patches, usually on the face. It often takes several weeks to months to fade completely, even with treatment. Factors like dryness, sun exposure, or skin irritation can prolong the duration.
Next Steps
The attached pictures can help confirm the diagnosis. If there's no improvement or if the patches spread or change appearance, follow up with your dermatologist to rule out other conditions. I’m happy to assist you further through an online consultation.
