Absence of burning or pain is reassuring, but any recurrent white patch should be examined. I recommend a clinical evaluation and review of the previous biopsy report. If the patch persists or changes, a repeat biopsy may be needed to rule out recurrence or dysplasia. Avoid tobacco, smoking, and local irritation.
