Please Reply.. should I wait for the result of Broncoscopy before getting a Pet Scan or should I go for it anyways? What if the Broncoscopy test results are all normal then wouldn't Pet Scan become absolutely unnecessary exposure to radiation? I'm confused.. please reply.. Asking for my mom who is 67 yrs old and has lung mass and lung nodules on CT scan.. Doctor is suspecting ?scar carcinoma.. She had Covid pneumonia in 2020 nd got fibrosis after that.. Symptoms: nothing, just a very mild dry cough sometimes daily
