NDM-10 gene is localised on a plasmid (Small DNA of a bacteria) There are many NDMs...NewDelhiMetallo-beta-lactamase(named as NewDelhi ....but this is seen in many places in India, Other Countries). Carbapenemases (enzyme in Bacteria) has particularly dangerous resistance mechanisms, since they can inactivate a wide range of different antibiotics. It simply means a  resistant bacteria/ superbug. This is a challenge to our society. All of us together need to fight against it. A Urinary Tract Infection, A Lung Infection could be that resistant Bacteria.
Next Steps
When you are not getting better out of infection, Culture and sensitivity of sputum/ blood/ urine (depending on Clinical condition) will help us diagnosing this.
