Hello, Best thing you can do to your kid is provide a proper treatment and not worsen the situation for your kid due to your fears. Dental treatment procedures are not painful once the approach is right and treated intially. Please do not take decisions on your own without a proper scientific understanding of the situation. Please do get your kid treated with a pedodontist who are trained for treating kids. Second a decay once started cannot be healed or taken care at home it requires a dental care in a dental clinic. Third yes ur kid is very young and a decay be it a milk tooth or permanent should be treated. Please get a diet counselling done and ask for change of tooth paste and brushing habits from your dentist.
