Hi my mom is 58 yrs old and recently noticed a breast lump. This was been there since 8 months and was unnoticed. We have done many tests and the doctors say it is just a benign tumour. What are the symptoms in a benign tumour and how is it less harmful? Is it still cancerous and requires surgery?

At 58 years malignancy to be ruled out.. Please attach biopsy report and mammigram report...
