As you correctly identified, this can majorly be because of what your father went through a month ago. Glad he is doing much better now.
Anxiety is about either living in the past or in the future. To experience and enjoy your present, you have to be aware and make conscious effort. You may want to try to rationalise your thought each time something worries you (example- if you think of your father's stroke, remind yourself that it was in the past and it is now over/ okay).
For anxiety, feel free to try :
1. Deep breathing exercises (guided practices available on YouTube)
2. Grounding techniques right before or during panic
3. Yoga/ tai chi
4. Journaling your thoughts and fears
5. Reaching out to a trusted adult
6. Consistent sleep wake routine
7. A healthy balanced and nutritious diet
8. Check your vit D/ vit
b12 levels
9. Counseling/ psychotherapy with a psychologist
10. Medication from a psychiatrist (if need be)
