You must go for combination diet. For weight gain. Not only protein.
Take combination meals. In every two hrs interval.
Simple pattern is
Em. Like honey cold water
Banana shake
Breakfast. Rice idly with coconut chutney. / Stuffed chapatti with curd + Coconut chutney / whole eggs with breads
Mid meal. Fruit juice with nuts / sprouts + aalu chatt
Lunch. Dal. Veg. Chapatti and zeera rice
Even. One pc Coconut.
Bread butter / Dal chila / suji chila + lemonade
Dinner. Chicken/ Dal/ panner/ soya + veg
Chapatti with zeera rice
Post dinner. One desert
