Gud afternoon, breast milk has its own benefits and also milk is species specific so no milk of any species can replace breast milk so it is advisable to continue breast feed upto 2 years of age with gradual weaning.
Next Steps
how much cow's milk with how much water dilution is been given to child is important to know. diluted milk will not suffice daily's requirement of the child as just 'pet bharna' is not important. food quality with enough protien, vitamins and minerals are of big importance.
Health Tips
do not give predominant milk based diet as it causes anaemia- and in the longer run decreases cognitive functions.

Good morning Solid Foods are very important at this stage. Give small, frequent and variety of Foods. Give thick quantity. Regarding breastfeeding National guideline says you should continue upto 2 years. You can reduce the frequency gradually shifting baby to complementary Foods, but this will happen gradually and will take time. Thanks
