Weakness after viral fever

My family is suffering from a viral fever from last 5 days. After consulting doctor and taking medicines the fever has gone down from 102 to 99.5. But the weakness is too much and lot of body ache, backache. What to eat and drink for energy in the body ?

Post viral weakness is common these days... You can adequate amount of fluids, green leafy vegetables,  pulses , eggs whites..

If theres a good appetite,have vegetables and fruits,pulses for protein and maintain hydration.However,if there is a lack of appetite,you may substitute these with vegetable juices and fresh fruit juice also.

Hi dear Generalised bodyache and weakness is part of fever and it will recover withing few days U should drink plenty of liquids so that u don't get dehydration take juices , vegetable soups etc eat citrus fruits which rich in vitamins. Take good protein source example pulses, chicken etc . Or if the weakness is more u can even take supplements for it So please consult on practo and let me know in detail what all u are feeling so i can guid eu with the medicine that might help Take care
