Me and wife have already planned for Rameshwaram trip from Chennai and till that time we did not know that my wife is pregnant. Now my wife has weak pregnancy. Doctor gave her folic acid tablet and supportive medicine and advised us not to travel. But we told the Doctor that we shall go by train and will come by train only. We shall not walk too much. Only 1-2 km a day.  (4 days trip) Then she said ok. The Doctor then gave us supportive medicine. My question here is should we travel? I trust my doctor fully. But still I just want to know from other doctors.

Perhaps you could travel safely,  unless there is some complications associated  with your pregnancy such as spotting, or bleeding Per vagina. All the best for your trip.
