Weak Grip in Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

My father aged 52 years is having hand joint problems. He is unable to make a proper grip/fist and feels pain only when trying to make the fist, after his hormone blocking treatment was started for Ca Prostate. We did a NCV BUL, and were diagnosed with CTS. But he is not having any common CTS symptoms of numbness, pain at night and tingling in any of the limbs. So the doctor is not sure about the diagnosis and recommended some other lab as this is a very sensitive and errors prone test. Can these be symptoms of CTS or is it only sacropenia due to low Testosterone? Which doctor should we go for a proper diagnosis?

Can be due to carpal tunnel syndrome as already you have a diagnostic test confirming the diagnosis. Need to examine clinically for better opinion
