Watering eyes

Hey, I am IT professional so most of the time I am in front of the laptop screen and in the free time in front of the mobile screen which is giving my eyes stress. Recently my left eye just keep watering for the entire day. Can you please suggest medications?

Hi there! What you seen to have is computer vision syndrome which is very common due to increase in usage of digital gadgets. Please follow the following- Make sure the lighting in the room is comfortable on the eyes, and prevents you from staring into glare on the computer screen Reduce screen brightness. Position the digital display so that your head is in a naturally comfortable position while using Every 5 or 10 minutes once , Take breaks. A few minutes away from the computer or mobile can go a long way when it comes to your eyes. Think of it similarly to the way you take stretch breaks for your arms and back. Don’t forget to blink often. You can use a lubricant eye drops (carboxymethylcellulose) one drops both eyes as per symptoms for a week if needed. But the above steps will help you a lot

Hello. You are having dry eyes due to excessive screen work. Give adequate rest to your eyes. Ideally folow 20:20 rule; after 20 minutes of screen time take your eyes away for 20 seconds.
