Vomiting after taking iron tablet

In 8 weeks pregnant and have vomit My hb is 10.7 so my gyno suggest small dose of iron tab. Livogen 2 but i vomit more after taking tab immediately. Why this is happening and vomit is full smell and taste of iron only.. after that even burp is smelling same. I'm worried if my hb keeps dropping. Pls help me

Stop iron supplements should not be prescribed in the first trimester As thy increase chances of vomiting Hb more than 10 is normal Hv iron rich foods
