Vitiligo-Can it spread to child

My husband was suffering from segmental vitiligo since last 8 yrs, he is cured now. We are doing family planning but I am really scared if my child  inherits this disease. What are the chances of it to be transferred to children ? Is there any alternative ways to get pregnent with donor sperm through IUI, is it legally allowed in India?
