I have a query my child is 4 years old last years she had a problem of rickets which was seen in her legs after taking precautions for year we consulted the doctor and now the doctor said that is nearly cured but i have a question...doctor has suggested her vitcofol and shelcal syrup ..can u plz help as to what should be the time gap of giving both syrup and also and which syrup has to be giving first due the syrup do the children get constipation her weight is 14 kg...

Consult Now
Vitcofol should be given on empty stomach or about 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. Vitcofol can cause constipation Shelcal can be taken before or after food, it's absorption is more if taken with food. Ideally vitcofol can be given 2 hrs after breakfast or lunch Shelcal can be given immediately after breakfast or dinner
