Vitamin D Deficiency

Hello, One of my relative doctor has suggested arachitol nano syrup (60000 IU/5ML) Syrup weekly for my 17 months old kid. As per him, My kid has vitamin D deficiency. Currently we give 400 IU per day. So is it safe to give arachitol nano syrup?

400 iu daily is maintenance dose. If deficiency is severe then higher dose is needed. Calcirol sachet can also be given.60000 iu weekly at least 4 wk.

THis dose of vitmain D is given is there is deficiency of vitamin D and signs suggestive of Rickets.
