30 minutes daily around noon time/mid-day in summer is what has been researched to boost vitamin D levels. However, there are multiple other factors involved, and if you have severe vitamin d deficiency(levels below 10), please take D3 supplementation. For mild to moderate cases, trying sunlight is advisable.
