One and a half years ago.. I was diagnosed with Vertigo. BpVv and two months after the diagnosis.. I got tinnitus in my left ear (whooshing sound) -did audio test and I have mild hearing loss in my left ear. But tinnitus never went away,.. and the vertigo is almost normal through the month except before and during my periods when I get the vertigo gets much worse. Why does it get worse during pms and Period. Doctor had told me to take B12 and vitamin D. My iron level is at 66.

If it is a whooshing type sound, please check if it is synchronous with your pulse rate. If so, it may be Glomus Tumours.
