Vernal conjunctivitis

My son got detected with vernal conjunctivitis, he is getting itching and redness in eye. we had consulted with eye specialist and got to know that this is allergy, have consulted with homeopathic doctor and he got some relief from that but still itchiness and redness is persistent. please advise.
