My mother is having a vaginal infection and doctor prescribed her to take metrogel capsules with rantac 2 times a day but she developed loose motions. Is this any side effect of metrogel?

Metrogyl s normally used to prevent loose motions.. Strange she had loose motions after metrogyl.. Give cap darolac twice daily and stop other medicines
