Vaginal burning & itching

I have been having vaginal burning since last tuesday. I started drinking lots of water and have been applying Candid powder and diluted Dettol too. It recedes but then comes back again. Also, I have developed a tingling sensation / itchiness inside the vagina. I'm worried. Please help.
