Hi,
Today 45days vaccination given to my daughter, I opted for painless , I opted PCV10 , still she's crying , doctor suggested pCV won't be having pain, getting doubt whether it's a pain or painless .

This is a temporary reaction and not harmful. It shows the baby’s immune system is responding well to the vaccine. These effects usually settle within 24–48 hours.
Although called “painless,” the PCV10 may still cause some local pain, swelling, or discomfort. Babies can be cranky or irritable for 1–2 days after vaccination.
Reasons include Local soreness at the injection site, Mild fever, General discomfort or fatigue post-vaccine, Hunger or overfeeding, In the 45-day-old: colic or gas could also contribute
Next Steps
Cold compress (ice pack wrapped in cloth) can be applied gently to the injection site 2–3 times/day for 5–10 minutes.
Paracetamol can be given if: There is fever >100.4°F (38°C), Or baby is very irritable (dose as per weight)
Ensure baby is well-fed, burped, and not overheated.
Hold or swaddle baby to soothe; skin-to-skin contact often helps.
Health Tips
Red flags:
Crying is inconsolable >3–4 hours
High fever >102°F
Reduced feeding, excessive drowsiness, or lethargy
Redness or swelling increasing beyond 3–4 cm or lasting >3 days
