Vaccination deffered due to lockdown

Is it ok to defer vaccination for my baby daughter born on 9th jan 2020?. Her latest vaccination was due on 26th march but due to lockdown we did not went for it and e stay in rural around 70kms away from our doctor. How far can we defer it? And what risk is there because of such deferment?

Wait till lockdown is over. Decreasing transmission or contracting covid is bigger risk than advantages offered by routine vaccinations in present scenario of lockdown

Yes, you can wait until the lockdown is over. Taking your child out for vaccination to a clinic is a major risk than giving it. . There is no risk. Do not worry

No need to worry.In such emergency situation it’s better to stay at home. You can get your child vaccinated as soon as things are normal.You can continue with your vaccination schedule later.

Change and or postponement of Scheduled vaccination is acceptable in some situations like Pandemic Covid/ Child being sick, not possible to reach health facility during natural calamities. you can give 1-2 months after scheduled date. No need to worry. Govt is looking for all those kind of elective  medical problems. We may get solutions soon.
