My father was diagnosed with UTI( having pain during urination, swollen bladder, frequent urination at night) and cathetration was done. After removal of catheter he had electrolyte imbalance. Treatment was goin on where he was diagnosed with pyelonephritis, then sterile pyuria, and increase in pus cells from 12-15 in range. Urine afb test was negative . He is given antibiotics faronem-er 300, tasulin d , omnix dt 200. As of now he is having shortness of breath, swollen feet, loss of appetite and fever sometimes . Is the infection serious? Is the problem with kidney or an urology problem? Please give suggestions
