Uterine cancer post menopausal

Post menopausal since last 4years , having spotting off and ON last 1 year, in hysterectomy Focal thickness in Rt posterior lateral area of fundus suspicious and in Biopsy report its well differentiated Endometroid endometrial adenocarcinoma. Focal mild thickening of anterior wall of uterus noted in its superior aspect with loss of defination of endometrium noted. In CT thorax and abdomen reports all organs appeared normal with subcentrimetric bilateral external iliac and superficial inguinal nodes largest 6.0 mm at SAD. Both reports shows different conclusions should we do a pet scan?

Send me your Biopsy report and go For MRI Pelvis with Contrast.

Pet CT scan is not recommended for Ca Endometrium. You should get MRI pelvis with contrast.  Most of Ca Endometrium are diagnosed in stage 1 and require only surgery by a Surgical Oncologist. Only some patients may require adjuvant radiotherapy based on final HPE report
