Using steroid nasal spray, risk of black

2021-07-19 15:59:09
I have recovered from covid 6 weeks back. I was on oral steroids for one month and on oxygen hospitalized for 10 days. No diabetes. Now I am suffering from postnatal drip. ENT doctor prescribed furamist and allegra M. Since the nasal spray is steriod, I am worried taking it due to fungal infections like black fungus. Please suggest if incan continue nasal steroid or any alternative to it.

As such there is no contraindication for the spray.. If worried then you may use nasoclear nasal drops and steam inhalation twice or thrice a day
