Using safe antibiotic
I had lscs 15 days back, i have uti, gynecologist advised to take nitrofurantoin 100 mg bd, is it safe to use or should I take different antibiotic? I have attached urine culture report

Your culture reports reveal a high count of E coli which is sensitive to Nitrofurantoin. So it guarantees that your infection will be cured by this drug.
The second query would be regarding breastfeeding I suppose. Nitrofurantoin passes into breast milk in small amounts and is unlikely to cause side effects in your baby. But it's best to take nitrofurantoin only for a short time. If you need to take it for longer than a few weeks, talk to your doctor again.
