Using a professional shampoo

2026-03-07 11:44:56
I use flat iron 4-5 times a month in a temp range 160-190 degree Celsius. Now i am noticing i have a lot of surface frizz. I tried different shampoos including sulphate free but my hair is still dry. So i ordered loreal professional xtenso shampoo (this is shampoo is mainly used for chemically treated hair, its sulphate free). Can i use this shampoo. Is it safe for my untreated hair.

The surface frizz and dryness you are noticing are most likely due to repeated heat styling (flat iron at high temperatures), which can damage the hair cuticle and lead to dryness and frizzy hair. Using a sulphate-free shampoo like L’Oréal Professionnel Xtenso is generally safe even for untreated hair and can help reduce dryness since it is designed to be gentle. Helpful Tips / Word of Caution: Avoid very high temperatures while styling (try keeping it below ~160–170°C if possible) and limit heat styling to protect the hair shaft. You may consult me online for a personalized hair care routine and further treatment options
