In a male baby having recurrent uti necessitates through investigation for any malformation/and ,or obstruction in the genito urinary system. Non opening of fore skin in a one year old male baby is not uncommon, but if that causes balooning of foreskin during passing urine or if the urine stream is narrow, that may cause obstruction of urinary flow ,retention of urine and recurrent uti.Another more probable causes are pin hole meatus and post urethral valve. All these require a through assessment and investigation by a surgeon/urologist and futther management.Delay may cause irreversible
kidney damage,so it is urgent to consult.
