Congratulations on taking the significant step of quitting smoking! I understand your concern about noticing a black spot on your tongue after briefly resuming smoking. While it's great that you've stopped smoking again, it's important to address any changes in your oral health promptly. Regarding the black spot on your tongue, there are a few things to consider: Possible Causes: The black spot could be due to various reasons, including a harmless condition like "black hairy tongue," pigmentation changes, or something more serious. Without an examination, it's difficult to determine the exact cause. Lycored and Oral Health: Lycored, which contains lycopene, is known for its antioxidant properties and can contribute to overall health. However, it may not directly address or repair the specific issue with your tongue. Immediate Action: It’s crucial to get the spot evaluated by a dentist or a healthcare professional as soon as possible. Early detection and treatment are vital, especially to rule out any serious conditions.
Next Steps
Please make an appointment with a nearby dentist to have the spot on your tongue examined. If you don’t have a regular dentist, I recommend finding one in your area who can see you promptly.
Health Tips
Taking swift action will help ensure that any potential issues are addressed early and give you peace of mind.
