Getting heart palpitations(feeling as if heart beating too hard and irregular), chest pains, dizziness and weakness since a month! ECG done 20 days back normal except for tachycardia. Symptoms persisted so went for another Ecg today which revealed possible left atrial enlargement! PREVIOUS ISSUES- Hypertension for 2 years , goes till 180/100) not taking any meds for it Echo test done 4 months back normal PLEASE TELL WHAT TO DO? I am very scared confused

Hi Young Hypertensive Blood pressure is very much above the normal range Need to consult Cardiologist to rule out secondary Hypertension

Start medications tab TELMA 40 mg once a day , tab EMBETA XR 50 mg once day

your first ecg showed normal sinus rhythm. send ur second ecg.But your BP will be on higher side.Take tb.metolar-xl 25mg in the morning and tb. amlong 5mg in the night
Next Steps
avoid extra salt and oily food. Do regular aerobics atleast 30min in a day

Hello, BP of 180/100 at your age is too much. With irregular palpitations and possible LA enlargement you neet to be evaluated for possible secondary causes of hypertension. And you need to control your BP aggressively.
