Why stent is placed even after removal of kidney stone? or they have not yet removed the kidney stone.. In the file they mentioned done flexible uretroscopy.

DJ sent is always put for healing purpose it will be removed after two weeks or three weeks depending upon the situation inside

Yes you have to keep Stent 1. To drain 2. Post op you don’t get pain 3. Residual stones are expelled as now there is no spasms
