Urate crystals in nappy.

Hi doctor, my 5 month old baby is only on breastfeed. She is urinating only 2times in 24 hours since 7 days. Since last 7 days Orange /pinkish color is observed intermittently in nappy and also orange crystals around urethra. Also, she is choking when everytime she tries to breastfeed. Please advice.

Mother need to increase fluid intake, Mother dehydrated, might be passing less urine , Hence less milk and concentrated breast milk Mother should pass 7-8 urine per day, please check

The orange/pink crystals  are a sign of dehydration in your baby.and urine output is significantly less as mentioned by you.so please increase her feed,may be she needs top up feeds.
