I removed my upper wisdom tooth last Thursday. I have lower jaw pain, under ear with swelling for past one and a half months. Dentist said could be a crack in first lower molar. Also the upper wisdom tooth. Told me to remove it. Did it last week and still have the same level of low jaw pain and swelling. Did CBCT scan for the crack and it's not visible. dentist said might be a small crack and needed rct or extraction. I don't want to proceed without definite answer. So extracted the WT. I feel my upper molars 1 and 2 that side very tight and hard. I couldn't chew anything even on the opposite site because of this bite tightness. Just swallowing soft foods. I have my follow-up appointment with oral surgeon on Monday. What could be the reason for these molars tightness and stiff? I had this stiffness before the extraction too along with low jaw pain and swelling. But it's more stiff and tight after the extraction. What could be the issue? Whether bcos of my lower minor crack? Please help
