Unknown depression

I am 29yo. Working for a big4 IT consulting MNC and well earning. Recently I got engaged to the one whom I love and we both are very happy. Everything is just perfect. But still sometimes, I am feeling down or sad without any reason. I wake up midnight and start thinking about life that where it is going. I barely sleep well for 3-4 hrs and rest of the night is just in half awake stage and running thoughts in the mind. sometimes I feel like I want to end my life. Sometimes I feel like I am tired of this life and don't want to live anymore. Are these the sign of unknown depression? What could be the reason for this?

Need to understand your situation in detail And what is causing it Need to understand if there is lack of something causing your problem.. If i ask you what thing you would like to have in your life which will give u peace and happiness. What would that be? Consult with me or any psychologist for therapy and counseling online All the best :)

Im sorry , you're going through this. Its rather odd that you feel this , at a time when you should feel quite the opposite. But what is triggering these thoughts  ? Suicide is definitely not the way, its not going to solve a problem just shits the burden to another person. Nobody can fill your place. Sleep issues can be fixed. Sadness can be helped. Try taking 1 step to get help. Consult a Psychiatrist. Take 1 day at a time.
