You definitely can take medication, but what is required most is therapy. A number of sessions will really help you uncover your negative feelings in the loop of negative thought because we need to address the root issue that is causing you to discomfort and until unless you process your feelings and break up that happen, only medicines will not really help because the wound needs to be cleaned from inside. So don’t worry about you know not being able to express. We don’t have to rush. We can take it session by session and help you improve all the best.

You can consult any astute psychiatrist and get evaluated. If the symptoms are clear and diagnosis can be made clinically they will suggest the next steps , else a detailed psychological assessment is needed and based on the report can proceed. Consult one immediately. Good luck

Its due to acute stress you are going through do no worry. Give yourself time to get over this and try for consultations and therapy. This could be depression or anxiety or grief reaction. Detailed history will be needed. For time being try exercise, focus on your own improvement. Take medications and try therapy and Councilling. It takes time but you will get better.
