Underbite Treatment

Hi - I have an underbite which is not too severe. But it is due to issues with the jaw and so can only be fixed by surgery as my dentist has pointed out. I really want to get it fixed but was wondering what are factors to consider before such an invasive surgery and treatment? Also, is 23 a good age to start this treatment?

You may definitely go ahead with treatment. Your orthodontist,  surgeon and anesthesiologist would evaluate you to see if you are fit for surgery If the underbite is very less  it can be camouflaged with braces and extraction too. Your orthodontist would know what's best since theyve clinically examined you and have your recordd. Feel free to ask them all the questions. They would gladly explain
