Hi Black underarms are usually due to a condition called Acanthosis Nigricans which is related to deranged insulin metabolism , associated with weight gain . If you have got a black patch over that area it could be superimposed fungal infection which needs to be treated. Please consult a dermatologist near you to examine the area and treat it accordingly. Also once this gets better you can start treatment for persistent underarm pigmentation.
