Unable to sleep

I was worked in night shift for past 5 years. I was moved to day shift 2 months before and I don't sleep in morning. Still I can't able to sleep in night for long. I consult a doctor and he precribe melontin tablet. Even after taking tablet I was woke up at morning 3'o clock itself. Please help on this problem.
