Unable to gain knee rom

I had a knee operation"osteochondral left knee fracture with lateral patella dislocation" .... 40 days before for past 3 weeks m in pt session regularly..But I have achieved only 50 degrees ROM and on cpm I can go to maximum 75 but with heavy pain my physiotherapist is having quite aggressive approach he lets it pain till I screem out of pain. I don't know where we are going wrong.

Is it only 3 was post surgery Then it ok since cpm is giving 75 degree U will improve within 4-6 wks Try cryotherapy I found it very effective for my patients post surgery
Next Steps
Use analgesics and continue ur physio Try wax bath too
