If the bulge doesn't resolved back inside and u feel it is obstructed consult a surgeon and get the operation done ... P.s.- post operative also the pt is expected to avoid weights or else he might have EXCISIONLA HERNIA

Go and get examined him by a surgeon in offline mode. If he says do the surgery.  At the age of 72 I don't think mich ayurved treatment will work on this, as this is a surgical issue.

Hi There is no need of big surgery .you can go for laparoscopy .its a very good technique. In laparoscopy there is only one or two stitches .

Sorry to say... in Ayurveda  too surgical intervention advised. So need to go for surgery . Consult good surgeon and follow up accordingly.
